This is a modified version of JeffParkerModHDx's Whistle For Your Vehicle mod.
The big change is the addition of making the cars self-driving, meaning they will drive themselves to your position when you whistle for them. All vehicles but helicopters are supported, although planes aren't fully supported.

The big change is the addition of making the cars self-driving, meaning they will drive themselves to your position when you whistle for them. All vehicles but helicopters are supported, although planes aren't fully supported.
Installation:
- Install Script Hook V.
- Install Script Hook V .NET.
- Create a scripts folder within your GTA V directory if it doesn't already exist.
- Copy the .dll and .ini files from the archive to within the scripts folder in your GTA V directory.
Usage:
- Press the \| (backslash or pipe) button to whistle for your last car you were driving.
- Press the same button while your car is driving to you to cancel the request.
Configurable in the INI file:
- The key to whistle for your car (WHISTLE_KEY). List of keys.
- Whether or not to show subtitles (SHOW_SUBTITLES).
- The sprite to use for the blip (BLIP_SPRITE). List of sprites.
- The color to use for the blip (BLIP_COLOR). List of colors.
Notes:
- I have permission from JeffParkerModHDx to upload this.
- Your last vehicle you were driving is whistled for, not your character's default vehicle (unless that's the last vehicle you drove).
- The AI for driving to you is not perfect. It may take very indirect routes, could take a while to arrive, or could not figure out how to get there at all.
- The car drives to the position you whistled at, not to you, so if you move the car will not drive to you.
- You can't whistle for a car while you're in a vehicle.

*thumbs up*
I tested it, unfortunately, I can't use Whistle For Your Vehicle. When I press numpad 0, it doesn't respond o(╯□╰)o, so I can only use your MOD.
@LBGdyx Actually it does work you need to enable numlock.
@JeffParkerModHDx
Enable numlock?
Yes, I have enabled NumLock and can even use the numeric keypad to operate the TrainerV modifier, but this is the Whistle For Your Vehicle. I pressed numpad 0 and it still has no reaction.
Sorry, I found the reason. This is my fault. I turned off the Whistle For Your Vehicle script in the game...
@LBGdyx Sorry for saying such. I did forget that i legit had problems with an attempt utilizing my keys on my laptop and i dont have a numlock so i did researching and found out maybe i need numlock enabled but i eventually bought a numpad.
@LBGdyx ... I can't remember a mod in my twenty something years of gaming that didn't identify the ACTION key that would make it work. I finally found in some forum or other that the "Whistle for your Car" mod used NUMPAD ZERO. And, since I'm left handed, I use the numpad keys for actions in the game. NUMPAD ZERO isn't an option for me since it's used to enter vehicles and such. Why an accomplished author wouldn't provide an INI file so that people who can't use NUMPAD ZERO can make it something else, I don't understand. Anyhow I downloaded this mod since it has an INI file and I'm hoping it works. Appreciate the effort guys very much.
Is everyone else born with the knowledge of how to code these things? WHISTLE_KEY = OemPipe .... I've never heard of OemPipe before but I accept that it's real. Now what other options do I have? OemTube?
@Skulhamr Check the description or readme file. They tell you what the default key is, and has a link to all of the available keys.
Might want to add in the description and Readme instructions that you need to enter your vehicle first to register it as the vehicle you want to whistle for. For the longest time I was tried to whistle for Franklin's default while car across town with nothing happening each time I pressed the button. Finally I got into a random vehicle near me on the side of the road after watching the video and hearing him mention registering the car and to my surprise it finally worked.
@YodatheHobbit Sorry about that, I didn't think about mentioning that. I added it to the description :)
able to make a controller binding other than that. its a must for LSPDFR on foot chases. LOLL!!
Can a controller button + button i.e. LB + RB or whatever be recognized?
Does this use some variation of the Taxi to come to you?
Also, thx for adding this. Beyond annoying coming back to the game years later and remembering that the game intentionally avoids spawning cars at certain locations (Hospitals, Vanilla Unicorn, etc.) forcing you to either jack one and risk a star or run a bit to find one unattended.
Hey, I LOVE this mod, But it doesnt work for motorcycles, is it possible to use them for motorcycles?
is there any way to use this with motorcycles?
As playing LSPFR I hate running back to my car after a long foot chase, This mod is perfect for my needs! Now if we could get it to not drive like our resident "Andy Lee", that would be awesome! It drives like a malfunctioning Tesla! Be nice if it could slow down and stop properly instead of fly down the street and skid out at your position! Still I love this mod because I dont have to respawn a new car or run all the way back to my car now!
Please how do I install it on pc
Why is this Mod so underrated??
I've found this Mod to be the BEST FREAKING VEHICLE AUTO-RETRIEVER out there. It calls forth boats, jetski, cars, trucks, bikes, motorcycles & much more I've yet to test out, & even at a great distance too. This mod is simply brilliantly modified to suit anyone's needs, especially when they think they don't need it, but then realize just how an amazing companion it really is!!
this mod is hilarious! lol. love it 10/10. make it drive slow when near the player to avoid injury. please!! @Jitnaught
