A simple handling file for the Nissan Skyline GT-R(BNR34) ported by YCA-y97y from Forza: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/nissan-skyline-gt-r-bnr34-yca-y97y
-Best results whilst used in combination with ''Drift assist'' mod that counters the throttle cutoff found in GTA V and some of it's predecessors: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/drift-assist
The handling mod tries to somewhat replicate a high-end turbocharged Godzilla Skyline from your wet dreams whilst keeping it easy to drive and drift.
-Topspeed: ~ 320km/h
-Longer brakedistances
-Easy to drift whilst keeping it driveable at high speeds.
-WIP: Feedback and suggestions are appreciated.
0.2:
-Reduced power
-Increased steeringlock angle to 45 for added control whilst drifting.
-Additional changes here and there.
0.21:
-Added a second slightly modified version of the handligfile that is more suitable for general driving. ( Slight change in traction balance that increases stability at high speeds. To counter the inevitable loss of ''driftability'' I also adjusted the torquesplit between the front and rear (added 5% to rear).
0.3:
-Handling altered greatly according to feedback:
-Works well even without ''Drift assist'' mod even though the best experience will be had with it.
I suggest that you use the soundmod for the car made by Hippy: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/nissan-skyline-r34-engine-sound-replaced-elegy-sound

Instructions, I mean I don't need them but some people would
To be honest the mod needs a LOT of improvements, when I used the drift handling mod the car was so 'gripy' that I couldn't stop fishtailing, specifically the front end, very gripy. Another example is when you apply the handbrake you NEED to act fast or else the car WILL fishtail, again too much grip. Please improve :D
@WhatComesAround Yeah, I tend to use the ''Drift assist'' mod that counters the automatic throttle cutoff that most games in the series have. Sorry for not mentioning it from the beginning. I'll add it into the description and update the files with a README.
Thanks for the feedback and the mod showcases, I really appreciate it. I'll certainly improve the mod as I have spare time. I'm not sure yet if I'll make a version specifically for use without the anti-throttle cutoff mod. I suggest that you give the above mentioned mod a try: https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/drift-assist ( Requires Scripthook).
@Fieldcrab As for the showcases, don't mention it. And as for your mod, as long as you work on making it better you are a great modder. :D
@Fieldcrab Good job on the handling, I mostly prefer classic cars but this mod delivers exactly what is described and I'm surprised it doesn't have more likes yet. I think a lot of people don't understand how much time and effort it takes to alter a cars handling in this game without ruining the way it drives.
