I always figured it was Rockstar's way of nodding to the California Vehicle Code requiring a steady burn red light (front facing irl) on emergency vehicles.
Could always go with "Bear-Weasel" as a reference to the genus of the real life Bearcat/Binturong. I'm kinda partial to the Brute Mongoose to keep with Rockstar's tongue and cheek humor with a slight nod to the "Bear-Weasel" name. (I know a mongoose and a weasel aren't the same, but they are rather close)
But with the other Brute armored vehicles having names like Enforcer, Riot, Stockade maybe something like the Brute Suppressor, or the Brute Bulwark.
@Bass Dragon
Might want to look into this weapons.meta as it seems to have edited the default weapons, might give you a hint on where to look. This is what I use for my game: https://www.gta5-mods.com/weapons/more-realistic-body-penetration-mod-alpha
@P2FX Thought I had a good one, apparently not. It's working great now. Thanks!
Not sure whats going on, but I get a CTD during loading with this handling file. I have all original files when it comes to vehicles. Any other handling mod works fine. I see all the improvements in this and would love to test it out.
Nvm, I figured it out. Awesome mod. Adds a ton to GTAV. Keep up the awesome work!
Not sure if anyone can help, but I'm running into a couple of weird issues. When NOOSE spawns it creates 6 separate vehicles instead of having them all arrive in one. So 6 SUVs show up with one NOOSE/SWAT ped driving. The other issue is with the police helicopters. They spawn, fly toward my position, then turn and fly away. I dug through the dispatch file and didn't see an issue. I also checked my mod folders to see if anything could be conflicting and I didn't see anything there. I also reinstalled WoV in case there was some issue with it installing. I'm kinda at a loss at this point.
Fantastic mod!
@Eddlm Fantastic mod! Gives the player characters a bit more life when I'm standing around waiting for a taxi. I was wondering, does this work for any character model? It didn't seem to work while I was using a custom character from the EUP mod (uses MP character models).
@MAESTRE Thought you might want to check out what I got going on, still tweaking some things, but I think the Monarch Operator model was perfect for this: http://imgur.com/a/oHTNH
