controller and keyboard don't work cohesively while driving anymore (gta update) I don't think is the problem I'm gonna need to map ps4 controls in game somehow ive taken enough of ur time already dude thanks for the help works with keyboard\tartumas or whatever great amazing mod again hire this guy someone would ya or unless you already got a great job lol god bless your work doggy bear
ya I must of done something wrong my setup with this mod before was select\share= back\cancel, start= enter\exit vehicle mapped then just used esc on keyboard for pause this what I had input mapper for then Y or triangle was shift up circle for shiftdown VK_OEM_1 and 7 respectively ; and ' I dunno imma try a few other things like free my controller that stryker said donate if u got the money mo idea why u don't already work for rockstar already I might have to email rockstar lol thx ikt for maktng driving in gta amazing
Its feels as if now the last update to everything specifically the game has made controllers unable to sync with the keyboard while driving like they are two different worlds now my mapping was to VK_OEM_1 and 7 for shift controls input mapper does tell the game it works just not at the right time like when I'm using the keyboard tri and circle work to switch gears but when I'm driving with the controller tri and circle don't switch gears anymore I dunno maybe I'm missing something but ive tried many things rebooting the game everytime I think I must have to wait for input mapper to update tried macros nothing
@Stryker300 ya I like mine start is exit/enter, share or select is back tri is shift up and circle is shift down fixes everything button conflict except now u cant for some reason using input mapper and ds4 no go I'm scratchin my butt hair on this one
I'm not sure its gotta be input mapper ived tried everything although when in game it doesn't let me change controller settings for some reason but in the ini it works ive tried reinstalling before I could map tri and circle easy but now its like it thinks my ps4 controller is another keyboard cuz I can shift with tri and down with circle until I hit the gas and gta says its lil thing switched to controller then tri and circle cease to do anything by the way ive map them to share and start buttons cant seem to get anywhere wish I could afford that damn wheel with the actual shifter box stick shift mod literally one of the best mods when I can get it to work :( maybe mapping issue with input mapper anybody else try my way yet it fixes all button conflicts its good got me lil lancer all drift customized my own way down at the shipyard with sum brews my favorite mmhmm@ikt
grrr hrs trying to figure the controls again to make shift up and shift down triangle and circle I don't get why everytime this damn thing updates with the game the controls are screwed again this time I cant get it because it works for one second until the games switches from keyboard to controller trust me this is the best way make tri and circle start button and share button through input mapper no changing weapon and ducking or ebrake everytime how come u haven't seen this yet any way to stop gta from switching control schemes I wonder from kb+m to controller rawr
I can't shut up lol everything works fine like operationjoes scenario I jus like to customize that bit to make everything perfectly unison works so well cuz nitro u usually hold on square so ur not always changing weapon like shifting does I'm high
I wonder what could be causing an interruption in the signal from one of the VK_OEM_any to controller through the application input mapper I've tryed many many things in the game I can input map anything else so I'm just wondering if the update deleted some enabler for accessing the shift controls and engine clutch controls via ps4 controller any Xbox paddle users doing what I did pls let me know thx
