@EzX_GTA If I like the mod I’d like to make it compatible with my restauranta & hotels mod, are you okay with that?
This mod is fantastic! I hope the new version will include the option to customize the price multiplier.
Is this compatible with Enhanced?
What will next update focuse on?
instalei tuddo certo, não funciona
Really impressed by the mod's quality. The script in itself works like a charm, everything is well performed, the consumption rate, the HUD, the menus for customizations, the props, sounds, textures, etc. The mechanics like grabbing a basket in the store and having to walk around to choose stuff and then going to checkout, it's these kind of stuff that really brings in the immersion that misses in other mods, we need the character interacting with the world, not just us pressing buttons and everything changing within menus and HUDs, this is what makes this mod really enjoyable.
As for feedback, I have a few technical comments that could be improved upon and maybe some ideas that I don't know if other people already suggested (there's a lot of comments to read XD), so here we go:
1. When you're in a store buying stuff, the mod limits us as to how many things we can buy in a certain group, like, only 1 drink, 1 chip, etc, but somehow I managed to put a lot of stuff in the basket and when doing the checkout, the mod blocked me from paying stating that there was too many stuff, making me discard my current basket to pickup another one and picking up less items. So there needs to be more clarity on this mechanic, as to how many items or item types you can put in the basket and how many you can actually buy. And also, what could be cool is if we could delete specific items from the basket instead of having to discard the whole thing and have to restart with a new basket. I tried hitting delete, backspace, etc, but couldn't delete a single item from the checkout list, so I don't know if it's already possible.
2. Following that line, I found the store/items list HUD a bit confusing on 2 aspects. First, when going through the list, each item depicts which bars they fill (hunger, thirst, energy) but they also show a green bar... I don't know what that is. And also, sometimes a few items in the list become greyed out, like it would mean they are unable to be bought, but I can still put them in the basket... so yeah, don't know why, I think it needs a bit more clarification on those.
3. Still on the store HUD, but this one is a nitpick, definitely ignorable. I found SUPER cool the discount mechanics, makes it feel more alive and grounded to reality, but the behaviour itself could improve... Like, whenever I grab a basket, check the items list and there's like, only 1 item in discount... then go to discard the basket and pickup another one and check the same items list, it changes which and the amount of items with discount. I know it must be working like it loads a random ssed of discounts each time you initiate a shopping, but could you make it "fixed" for a certain amount of time, like a full day or a week, and only refresh it after that period of time has passed? Again, this one is a nitpick and you can completely dismiss this.
4. This one I DID see other people commenting about and have also seen you replying stating that it's on the horizon, but just to make it more pronounced as a highly wished feature, yeah it would be awesome to implement motels/hotels and MAYBE even make it work alongside other mods such as Safehouse Reloaded (or any other alike), which comes with interiors and beds to sleep. This would 100% improve on the roleplay mechanic of having a unique character apart from Franklin, Michael and Trevor and have that new character have his own home with interactable stuff that do actually work with the character's needs
@jaden0808 I’m not certain what is causing this issue, though it may be related to the settings loading method. I will work on resolving it in the next update
@thalilmythos Sure, I will first review your mod and get back to you. I have already planned restaurants and motels for the next update and have started working on them
@dexterMQX I apologize, but a price multiplier or the ability to set individual item prices will not be included. The prices are designed to align with the game’s standard economy, and modifying them is not something I plan to support. I apologize, and I’m glad you’re enjoying the mod 😊
@ShiftyRelic4849 Yes, the latest v3.0 version supports the GTA V Enhanced edition. However, NaturalVision Enhanced (Onigiri) is not supported. Mods that utilize OpenRPF should work without issues
@likegemplay v3.0 has been released and primarily focuses on fixing as many bugs as possible, along with numerous improvements and a few newly added features
@JOHNbr23 Você instalou todos os mods necessários corretamente?
@kelvin_andrade Thank you so much for the kind words. I’m really glad you’re enjoying the mod 😊
1. Regarding the feedback, you don’t need to remove the basket each time to discard items. You can open the basket menu using Shift + B and press the Delete key on the selected item to remove it. I have also improved the system that determines which items can and cannot be purchased
2. The green bar represents the health bar, and consuming food or drinks will restore health. Items appear greyed out due to the one-type limit for donuts, drinks, or chips. Purchasing a bag removes this restriction, allowing you to carry multiple types. Additionally, the issue where items could still be added to the basket while greyed out has been fixed in the latest v3.0 update
3. Regarding the discount system, discounted items do not change when putting the basket away and taking it again. The system is fixed per store type, and each store type (24/7, LTD, Rob’s Liquor, and Scoops Liquor Barn) has its own set of discounted items. Discounts refresh only once per in-game day.
For example, visiting any 24/7 store on the same day will always show the same discounted items, regardless of the location. However, visiting a different store type will display a different set of discounts.
I have tested this in-game and was unable to reproduce the issue of discounts changing after reusing the basket. The discounted items remain consistent for each store type throughout the day
4. There will be more than just motels. I have many features planned for the mod and will be implementing them over time
v3.0 is a smaller update that focuses on fixing various bugs, bring several improvements, and adding a few new features. It was originally planned to be a larger update. However, due to time constraints, the scope was reduced. My goal is to continue releasing updates on a monthly basis
Thank you again for the kind words. I truly appreciate your support 😊
@kelvin_andrade Additionally, you may check out the mod showcase videos on the channel for a more in-depth overview of the mod and its features
Am i missing something? instructions say install the required oiv. I see no .oiv file in version 3. Only a .ytd, Sorry for being dumb.
I tried installing v2 and then replacing the .ytd from v3 and now the game wont boot. running enhanced
What do i gotta do to get this mod paired with with something like this https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/hotels-motels-with-a-small-cutscene so that you could refill food and water at all the restaurants would be top tier shit and maybe even add interiors oen day
@jeffcarrington82
Hello there,
The OIV file can be found inside the [REQUIRED] VitalityPlus+ Textures folder and should be installed using the OIV Package Installer.
If the game is not launching, kindly ensure that all required dependencies are properly installed, including OpenRPF, ScriptHookV, ScriptHookVDotNet Enhanced, LemonUI (SHVDN3), and iFruitAddon2.
Please also note that the mod currently does not support NaturalVision Enhanced (Onigiri)
Additionally, using v2.0 together with the v3.0 textures will not function correctly and will result in missing textures.
@bradt4456 Currently, the mod does not support any motel-related mods. However, the next update will introduce a motel system along with several additional new features
@thalilmythos Hello there,
I tried your mod and found it quite enjoyable. However, I’m planning to expand the concept further with additional features beyond a cutscene
