"Look, you wake up one day and your legs, they just give, and you just can't run anymore." - Michael De Santa
This mod allows for hold outs against cops as a viable strategy to lose a wanted level.
Each level has a set amount of cops to clear before further dispatches stop, indicated by the bar underneath the stars on the HUD. Clear all remaining cops to drop your wanted level.
Backup arrives periodically and partially refills the number of cops.
There are 21 configurable settings to experiment with and suit your preferences.
This mod is packaged with SFConfig so you can easily modify settings and be notified of latest updates for supported mods through one in-game menu.
Use Right Arrow and NumPad 1 to open SFConfig.
It has been tested to work with ScriptHookVDotNet 3.3.2 and ScriptHookVDotNet 2.10.10.

@ArcKun if I'm understanding this mod as I read it, the cops eventually leave out stop coming THE MORE you kill them? 😐🤔 How is that realistic?
@SilverFinish is it compatible with better chases+?
👍👍👍
@cion IRL they can't respawn, in GTA they can.
@cion youd think it would be common sense but i guess its not
Is this compatible with this mod? https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/police-pursuit-behaviour-improved
most useful mod, can you tell me what means when the bar turns yellow ?
Can anyone please confirm if it plays well with story missions?
I'm trying to replay the story with a few mods and this one sounds really cool.
@Reyser yes but irl are you seriously going to take out an entire police force? And what, they don't call back up from other cities, counties, armed forces etc...so, yes, irl the cops don't "respawn" but they won't just "stop" either... especially after you killed 100 of them 😆
@cion Yes I agree with you. If viable having cops from other map locations helping the main police force would be a good feature but keeping in mind that they can't be infinite either. The key is them not respawning, the rest can surely have changes/additions to get a longer, more realistic and enjoyable experience.
Kept having a "script aborted" message at random or at least I thought it was random. Realized the script won't load unless you're connected to the internet as it searches for updates each time it loads. Not cool.
can you make this mod compatible with vedga? for some reason the script doesnt affect noose and merryweather territory
thank you for this mod, cops no longer spawn infinitely
One of the best mods I've came across
your mods are fantastic mate. can you please do the manual reload mod (the original mod author seems to have abandoned it and it doesn't work with the latest version of the game).
Extremely well made mod. It has made my bank heists so much more fun to play. Also very realistic and the default numbers seem great. This is how GTA 5 should have released.
@Reyser
One of the best mod I ever found! Thank for made this I love you.
@xxeennxxeeii47 but... I didn't make it? lol
What would be the most realistic settings for this? No more how many times I read the desc and even test in game, I dont understand how this works 100%. I just want to stop the never ending wave of cops and make it close to life.
This mod is cool. I love it ! I think it's logical to be able to eliminate the waves of cops that arrive and that he doesn't reappear right away, the goal would be to successfully eliminate enough of them in order to be able to flee and or hide. And that rather reappear endlessly, and that the reinforcement has a delay as if it had to come from further away. It's true that for the little anectote, it is partly thanks to the difficulty of the font which amused the developers of the first GTA which allowed the release of this game and everything we know.
