I'd make a 2 versions of the file - one with screen effect, another - without. If you have some problems with screen effect or just don't like it - install the version without screen effect!
Mod makes all shootouts and fight more hardcore and realistic. Now any NPC can kill you with 1 hit or 1 shot, just like you are them.
With this mod you'll have a chance to fall and bleed to death.
If you're wearing armor - you cannot get a critical hit.
Standart chance of critical hit is 42%.
You can configure mod by open it in any txt editor and change first 2 lines.
chance = 42 | Means that with 42% chance you'll get a critical hit.
mindamage = 5 | Means that you need to get minimum 5 HP damage to start random for critical chance.
You need to have a Script Hook V and LUA.asi plugin for it.
Put the mod in GTAV/scripts/addins

@Nexerade Hi bro, i don't really want to ask for so much,but let's start... I've been playing with your mod a lot, its a gear job! Though, its really annoying when i just push some 1 down, that person hits me in the shoulder, and i get bleeding... Well that's annoying! Bro, maybe, could you make a button to enable and disable the mod please? The car crashes are fine, but the little punches... Could you help me?
@MrGamingArt Ok, I will make a button to enable/disable in V3. You can change the minimal requred damage for critical hit. Watch for description. :)
Pistol damage = 9, punches are like 15-20, so that's why it is so weird. Or you can just lower your chance for it.

hello i am having trouble getting it to work. i put the file in gtav/scripts/addins folder that's inside the scripts folder. i have scripthook v which comes with lua.asi plugin. my question is what else needs to be inside the addins folder? i think my problem is not having certain files in the right location, if you could maybe screen shot or show exactly the step by step process that would be awesome thanks.

mod does not work for me i even did it just how you did in the screenshot i have everything updated all mods i need i don't know why it cant make this work lol
@maliken I think this is because of Script Hook. I have some similar problems too with some mods.

Can you make it so, if a ped hits you hard enough, you will pass out for a few seconds. Could you do that? That would be great!
heyo, great mod, but there's a bug where whenever you first start the game and see a random cutscene you will die from critical hit without getting even hit, thus getting wasted when you get spawned. can you fix that?

can you make it where insteadof bleeding out, you just heal again after like 12 seconds??
ok, I edited it to where I dont bleed out, but I'm set to a ragdoll. how do I edit the ragdoll time and how to I edit the screen effect time to end when I'm not a ragdoll anymore
LOVE this mod, since LSPDFR has no " Hardcore Mode " like LCPDFR did, this fixes all that. Now every encounter could be life or death and i am on the same health level as the peds. Awesome mod 5/5. However once i am wounded and bleeding out, how can i be rescued?. Can i call EMS or what can be done aside from just dying?.
