IF U INSTALLED THE OIV LOOK AND SCROLL DOWN TILL U SEE "how to download" To START. (Its recommended you already installed a gun sound mod before u install this one because i think it sounds way better that way.)
"Why does it sound like this?" cause some people like odd realisms example: "Rusty Gun Fire or Old Weapon Fire" or "Sandy Sounding Sounds" and iff u dont like the way it is its because it doesnt fit ur taste then how others could, so please be generous with the rating.
"Then why Upload this iff its not for alot of people?" Because nobody added Rusty or cracking fire sounds for Pistols before, therefore i thought i could make one for that desired realism.
This OIV installs a folder with instructions for adding custom rusty gun sounds to GTA V. (well idk what to call it but k)
It does NOT overwrite any existing mods or base game files. (unless u make some weird mistake somehow)
After installation, open the included howtodownload.txt to download the custom rusty gun sound mods. How to install is directly mentioned in the .txt
QUICK INSTALLATION (RECOMMEND THE VID FIRST)
Iff u really wanna know fast (dont recommend) then once u have my files, go to openIV and go to gta 5 > x64 > audio > sfx and get Weapons_player.rpf and put in ur desktop then immediately putting it back into the left side of OpenIV, click both the Combatpistol and pistol and both export into format by right clicking each one. Then after u have the folders go ahead and use my own .wav files and drag them in each one containing the same weapon for that folder, rename it to the actual original .wav name and do it for my .wav name by renaming it (right click) do the same for the other weapon sound, Now u have the .oac files aswell so use those to drag ur new modded .oac files back to ur OpenIV Weapons_player.rpf
And thats how u install it (based on my text, though i recommend watching the vid iff its unclear.)
