Wartburg 353 was the East German car (DDR) powered by a 1-litre displacement (3-cylinder) produced from 1966 to 1988 and very popular all around Eastern Europe.
I thought this legend deserves place in GTA5 so I made this mod, both [Replace] and [Add-On] version. For basic mesh I used free SketchUp model from 3D Warehouse,
uploaded by Kaufi - credits to Kaufi :), and I built car on Asea. I also modified all tuning parts so all upgrade works, and I made some extras (DDR gadgets). "Stickerbomb" texture I left as it is.
For Add-on version I changed engine sound only - motorbike sound sounds more like Wartburg, but you can change it in "vehicle.meta" if you don't like it
(in the line: " BAGGER " instead of "BAGGER" write "ASEA" or any other you like.
Glass is breakable; dust, dirt, scratch, burnt ... everything is ok (except on tuning parts) and for the first time I made LODs (L1 and L2) ... and yes I did LODs for tuning parts too:) ... Maybe not perfect.. but going forward, I guess.

[ADD-ON] INSTALLATION:
Choose folder with your preferable plates shape and:
1.Copy "wartburg353" folder to :\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks
2. Using OpenIV, go to: \Grand Theft Auto V\\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data — find the "dlclist.xml"
and add the following line:
<Item>dlcpacks:\wartburg353\</Item>
Done!
spawn: (cars -> sedans ->) Wartburg 353
------------------------------------------------------------
[REPLACE] INSTALLATION:
1.) Replace "asea_mods" file (".rpf") with openIV in this directory:
-> :\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\x64i.rpf\levels\gta5\vehiclemods
(or in latest patchday you find this file).
2.) Choose folder with your preferable plates shape and replace ASEA car files (".ytd" AND ".yft") with openIV in this directory:
-> :\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\patchday1ng\dlc.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\
(or in latest patchday you find those files).
done.

@NajPotez Also, i noticed a bug on the steering wheel pivot. The steering wheel rotates wrong. Please fix it by rotate the pivot to the direction on X axis to the steering wheel pointing direction.
Also for fixing the glass cracks. You need to enable UVW channel 2 on all window objects!! Also, any other object needs UVW channel 2, also 3.
Can you do the Mazda CX9 2013-2015?
@Killer2000 I am slow...it takes 3 or 4 weeks for me to finish car. I am working on ZAZ now and I planed next car, for next month... so, it can't be soon. I like Mazda, I woukld like to make some more, and if I find models for converting I might make some more Mazdas in the future... maybe cx9 too, why not. Just I can not promise anything.
Models are very classy, please make Zaporozhets 968m with a great selection of tuning, if possible

@smith04 TRABANT is on my wishlist too, but together with many other cars I would like to make. I can't make more but one car per month. So the answer is - Yes, but not so soon.
