Thanks bro! I now have a train horn for my trucks!
not at all descriptive
Noob question. The vehicles file within Resident.rpf is a .awc file not a .oac file. I tried just putting the .oac file in there but it didn't do anything. I am confused.
you have to right click the .awc and export as open formats to your desktop, then put the new sounds into the folder that gets created, then go back to openIV and press "new" which is in the top pane, then import the file that was created on your desktop, this worked for me.@bindiboi
I followed all the steps but when i honk there is no sound at all. (only with sad trombone)
I just noticed that Truck, Cop and Clown don't work after this. please help
MLG POWER!
lol thats sick man xDD
Anyone know if this would work for the loop horns? I'd totally love to have the Scarborough Fair horn from GTA IV.
Check this out if you're unsure of how to replace the sound: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymLrNTjGBXA
@TheRealKyle51 If you check the video above, you will notice that the vehicles.oac is opened with a text editor. Search for the sound, in this case 0x1AE3EF45. When you find it, look for LoopPoint inside the { }. Change the value from -1 to 0. Now the sound will loop. And of course follow the rest of the video above. This is a late comment but maybe more ppl will have use of it.
@R3QQ Thank you, I'll look into that later.
thanks i now put my own horn in from a sonata that goes along with the sonata car mod
Your car Flatus ?
@R3QQ Damn Boi thanks a lot ! I was looking for this exactly ( Opening and editing oac files ) .
