@dasautofan No problem man! Glad you enjoy it :)
gangster
Thug Life.
@Chezy mate is posible make lods?
@GanjaHouse Maybe someday, but not in the near future. The car has LOD0 and LOD1, and since I'm not very good at modeling and poly-thinning, I usually find it pretty hard to make many LODs. But I'll do my best to improve in that point in the future.
@Chezy Hey man, of what I saw in the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUdfTmo0M9o) the front indicators that are being used seem to be white and look more like another pair of head lights and then the actual headlights seem to use those small yellow/orange strips below the rest which specifically look like the real indicators. So my question/concern is shouldn't the front indicators be those yellow/orange strips under all the bigger headlights at the front? Maybe it was the guy of the video that screwed up when installing and that's why the vehicle is using some of it's headlights as indicators? idk
@Number1GojiFan That's actually how the lights on the Roadmaster are designed! Take a look at this video, somewhere around the end, you can see it pretty clear: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuT1TgR9O5A
I was confused in the beginning aswell, but back in the day, when I converted this Roadmaster to San Andreas, a friend told me that this is very common on US-american cars, since the cars there are required (or were required) to have some sort of "extra driving lights", I guess? I'm not too sure what the exact term is. But yeah, that's why the lights might look weird if you don't know the car.
@Chezy @Chezy Wow, ok, thanks man. lol It's cool but weird as well :). Nice that you added that detail in and made it like the real car.
Owning one of these in real life (a 1994, love it to death) the front running lights (Yellow strips under the headlights) are used as the only turn signal, the side markers on the front stay solid so long as the headlights are on and only come on when the headlamps are on. Rear tail lights also only use the sidemarking lights and the two outermost lights on the tail when using a turn signal or braking. The middle four are only used as running lights much like the yellow strips up front.
I love this Buick Roadmaster
Beautiful
no lods
@LUISDACOS You sure you downloaded the right car?
Interior a bit bad but nice car anyway, anything new on the Chevy Astro? @Chezy
One of my favorite car mods in GTA, great to see it in GTA V! Love driving this thing, great work 5 stars! Thanks!
@P677112 I have my GTA modding stuff on pause currently because my zMod licence expired and I got very involved in the Guitar Hero/Clone Hero scene again, but I'm definitely planning to work on some more mods for GTA (and to finish the Astro) whenever I can find the time for that. And whenever I can renew my licence, that is!
Great mod! One of my favorites! I would love to see you do a wagon version! :)
This mid-90s Buick Roadmaster is a wonderful car to just cruise around in.
So comfortable in-game.
@Chezy This is my preferred replacement for the Primo. I was wondering why the texture file was medium-large for such a plain vehicle so I took a peek in OpenIV - WOW you put a lot of work into it! Very great attention to detail, I see why you needed to do a lot with textures. The LODs are f***ed, it goes from full quality, to a box with square wheels at medium quality. Instead of setting them all to 500 in the vehicles.meta, I just copied primo_hi.yft to primo.yft (what I renamed your files). It's such a low poly model, I feel that sometimes no LODs are better than bad LODs. Anyway, the car doesn't turn into a cinder block at medium distance now. Great work! <3
I really want estate wagon
