the sound is working but it can only work for a certain car i chose like the sentinel. When i put the audionamehash for the sentinel the sound only works for the vehicle i put the audiohash on. What could i do to put the engine sound on a addon car?
@Foxunitone I have got the mod fully functioning and overall it is the best. But is it possible to fully operate the train like how you can drive. What i mean is if i can stop the train myself and go backwards or forwards? I can hop into the locomotives but they are capped at a speed and i can only use the horn and the bell. Please let me know if theres a solution but if its meant to be like that i completely understand.
for the people that are confused the hornx folder is actually the horn1 horn2 horn 3 horn4 and horn5 folders.
the other thing that you might be confuse about is when your on openiv and on the resident.rpf folder right click vehicles and do export to openformats put the location in the extracted folder where you put your new sound mod in. after that go into engine sounds folder and copy the 2 sounds and then go to the 'vehicles' folder and paste it then if it asks replace press ok or yes. the horn sounds samples are what the horn folders are. if you like the horn sound you like go into the horn folder that has the same number as the horn sound and copy all the sounds in the horn folder then paste it in the vehicles folder again and replace :) after that go back to openiv and go up top to the left and press new. then press import open format and go to the folder with the sounds in it and press the vehicles format with the iv icon and save. i tried it and it works fine
@Foxunitone i managed to get it working. I got it working in november so it is awhile ago but its still working today. Love the train looks though looks good with redux
can you plzz make a video tutorial. i didint understand some of the installation text and when i load into gta5 i get near the tracks and it crashes idk why
