Realistic Gunplay Mod
No hand-holding. No cinematic kill-cams. Just raw, punishing recoil and a camera that fights back — the way close-quarters gunplay should feel.
Tired of GTA V's floaty, arcade-style gunplay? This mod strips away the training wheels and replaces them with a leaner, more brutal shooting experience. Every trigger pull has weight. Every burst climbs. Every first-person firefight shakes like it should.
🔫 FEATURES
Realistic Recoil
Every shot kicks the camera upward with randomized pitch and horizontal drift, scaled by whether you're hip-firing or aiming down sights. Recoil builds up under sustained fire and smoothly settles back down once you let off the trigger — no more laser-beam full-auto.
Enhanced First-Person Camera Shake
Firing in first-person view now hits with real impact. Amplified camera shake kicks in on every shot and cleanly resets when you switch to third-person or hop in a vehicle — no lingering shake bleeding into other views.
Clean HUD
The default reticle is gone. No crosshair clutter — just you, your aim, and your instincts.
Kill-Effect Suppression (WIP)
Groundwork is in for stripping out the post-kill screen flash/color correction effect. Currently disabled pending a fix for missing natives in some SHVDN builds — full functionality coming in a future update.
