Ambient FX is a mod that seeks to enhance the effects used across the game in a very natural way. This first version has enhanced fire/smoke/smog effects for vehicles. These effects (both looped and non looped particle effects) will apply to ALL vehicles, not just the players. Smoke trails can now be seen blocks away, fire and embers effects have been enhanced, and a neat smog effect that grows depending on the amount of vehicles on fire as well being contained to that given area. I will be open to ideas and reasonable suggestions so please feel free to leave a comment. Keep in mind that most of my time is dedicated to RDE and so this is just a side project I cooked up.

@NEff2016 it's doesn't work for me i have the epic version and the newest version of scripthookV and .net
@LoTFI_Ramoul-Did you make sure to install it in the scripts folder? I'm having crashes with the game but it's not that.

Unfortunately, when using this with Natural Vision Remasted, FIB car lights will glitch out. It's hard to explain but giant red square textures appear (seemingly the siren light texture) obscure the FIB vehicles, and disappear if their siren is toggled off. This doesn't happen with normal police cars or vans.
I'm curious if there's a fix for this (besides uninstalling NVR). I really love this mod but this bizzare texture glitch ruins the immersion.
@Dilapidated nice work, I don't have the knowledge to do it but, could you make a similar script to increase the dust trail effect when driving off road on sand and dust surfaces?
This still works very well. When I get a crapload of cars and peds on fire if looking through a scope or standing nearby, frames get low as 25fps. Other than that, it's held up since I started using it years ago.

Be careful y'all I'm experiencing a conflict with NVE about the Smoke after an explosion. If someone has a solution other than uninstalling one of the mods pls. The smoke of AmbientFX is way too intensified by NVE which results most likely of a skyglow
does anyone know how to set custom fires like they do on FiveM servers or make the firers last longer?
After installing ambient fx it broke my vehicle textures does anyone know how to fix it
is there a way to make smokes bigger or taller?
I tried downloading the mod and followed instructions and but not working is there a way you can make it OIV or tell me how to install im lost

@Yytreex make a folder called "scripts" in GTA folder all lowercase and just drop the content in there
