GTA V Missing Speedometer solution in replace Car modes
Whit this Mode You Can Replace Any Car Mod With Any Car What You like in the Game And Speedometer of the car will works correctly.
How To use
1.At first correct the Dashboard Type of the Car that you want replace
For Example The owner of the mod design a Mercedes Benz and he asked you replace just with Tailgater
But you want replace it with Stanier You have to export "vehicles.meta" From
"Grand Theft Auto V\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5" With Open IV
The Open it with Notepad or any other text Editor
With F3 Find The Tailgater Go down to find The line
dashboardType] VDT_TAILGATER [/dashboardType
Now You know the dashbordtype of tailgater . just copy the Line Completly
Now Find Stanier With F3 Go down to find The line dashboardType]VDT_GENTAXI[/dashboardType
than highlight The line completely then paste then save the vehicles.meta the replace it with that you export with open Iv
2.Than Add All Textures in Archive To Vehshare.ytd in
"Grand Theft Auto V\x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf\" with open iv
In You select the textures to add a windows with title "choose import options" will be opened
Uncheck "automatically generate mipmap level"
then choose A8R8G8B8 In "Texture Format Compression" Menu
Then Press Ok to Add the Textures
Warning : It Works If the Owner Of the Car Mod Create Script Dial For the Model , If the Model is without Dial Part This Mod Cant Do Any thing For it.

@GTA-Elit i think your mod is a little bit misleading as you can usually fix a cars dials not working if you went from addon car to replacing a vanilla car. You just have to edit the vehicles.meta file. Sometimes no matter what you change the dashboard type to dials wont work on a few buggy addon cars. The author sometimes has to fix that in zmodeler. I guess for noobs getting into modding or people that are too lazy to read a mod authors readme file then they might not know this.
@Willief23 adding all script_dials_????.dds to vehshare.ytd is over 80% solve the problem in this way all cars can load them And correcting dashboard type is correct the place of loading dials and turning correctly
in add on car that must be work
If i make a video i think the lazy peoples can also enjoy the mod :)
dude, your the fucking man, now i can fix my svt mustang as i put it as the coquette not ruiner because my ruiner is replaced with ZIEVS PONTIAC TRANS AM WS6 BABY!!!! when the car is polished it will be released. look forward to it.

does it work with dlc cars? like the ones where their vehicle.meta files is not on update/update.rpf/common/data/levels/gta5 but are found on each dlc/mpsomething/common/data/levels/gta5?

that mods can change speedo clock ? i mean if i want to convert from vdt_taxi to vtd_tailgaiter is that working ? hopeufuly get your reply soon
