This mod adds a more realistic crime scene aftermath system to GTA V
Whenever a pedestrian is killed and the body remains in the world, emergency services can later appear around the corpse and create a small crime scene. The idea is to make the world feel like it actually reacts after something happened, instead of dead NPCs just lying there with nothing going on.
After some time passes, if you leave the area and come back, the scene can appear with police, EMS, a cruiser, an ambulance, medics, and a “Do Not Cross” barrier near the body.
This is meant to work well together with PersistentCorpses, so bodies can stay in the world and the crime scene can happen around them.
Requirements
ScriptHookV
ScriptHookVDotNet
PersistentCorpses recommended
Installation
Place the files here:
Grand Theft Auto V\scripts
Make sure ScriptHookV and ScriptHookVDotNet are installed properly.
Known Stuff
Barrier model may depend on your game files/mod setup
Some areas with bad road nodes can place emergency vehicles a little weird
Very tight streets, sidewalks, hills, beaches, and modded maps may need testing
This is a single-player script, not FiveM
Recommended setup
for best results:
Enjoy.
# Changelog
## Version 1.1
### Added
* Added arriving backup police unit after the crime scene is created.
### Improved
* Improved emergency vehicle placement so the ambulance and police cruiser no longer spawn too close to each other.
* Improved crime scene spawn stability around road nodes.
* Improved compatibility with persistent corpse behavior.
* Improved script behavior during wanted levels and shootouts so scenes do not randomly appear in the middle of active chaos.
* Improved FPS stability by lowering unnecessary scan pressure.
* Improved handling for bad spawn areas where emergency vehicles cannot find a clean road position.
* Improved vehicle spacing to prevent police/EMS vehicles from spawning into each other or instantly colliding.
* Improved scene logic so it waits for the area to calm down before creating the crime scene.
* Improved backup response so it feels more natural and less like instant pop-in.
### Fixed
* Fixed issue where emergency vehicles could spawn too close together.
* Fixed issue where police cruiser and ambulance could collide on scene creation.
* Fixed issue where the scene could try to spawn repeatedly in bad locations.
* Fixed issue where crime scenes could appear too soon after gunfights.
* Fixed barrier being fully frozen in place; it can now be hit, moved, or broken by physics.
* Fixed some cases where police/EMS would spawn in unstable or blocked road positions.
### Changed
* Crime scenes are no longer meant to spawn after every single kill.
* The mod now waits for the body to remain, the area to calm down, and a valid spawn location to be found.
* Nearby dead NPCs are merged into one crime scene instead of creating separate scenes for every body.
* Scenes are suppressed during wanted levels, shootouts, or unstable combat situations.
* The officer at the scene stays in guard stance and only reacts when actually provoked.
* EMS behavior remains focused on inspecting the body, returning to the ambulance, and leaving naturally.
### Notes
* PersistentCorpses is still highly recommended.
* Some areas with bad road nodes, narrow alleys, sidewalks, hills, interiors, or modded maps may still place emergency vehicles imperfectly.
* This is not a full police overhaul. It is an ambient crime scene aftermath script made to make the world react more naturally after a body is left behind.
* For best results, keep active crime scenes limited and avoid using too many dispatch/EMS overhaul scripts at the same time.
Keep scene amount limited
Don’t enable too many active crime scenes at once
Use this as an ambient realism addon, not as a full dispatch replacement

Hello so i tested this mod for a while and it works but the thing is whenever i came back to crime scene both ambulance and cop cars are flipped over is there a way to fix that?
SAME OF ME TOO
@supe4dupe yeah it happens sometimes im working onthat
this shit ain't work good, it draw all my goddamn fps... but the propouse of yours was good but you need to resolve some problems, like for players who like gunfight, the mod spawns the cops and the paramedics in a few seconds specially if you had a wanted level
@Elwero Good to hear!
@Elwero Consider adding compatibility to "Coroner Service" mod, i.e., if the coroner is already on scene, cancel the crime scene script, or mark the dead ped as something else to disable the coroner from spawning
Fixed mentioned errors
please make legacy <3
@futilityoflife88 It is.. works for me on Legacy.
This mod has potential. I'd like to see wgere it goes from here...I might need it for some upcoming movie projects. Keep up the good work.👍
Such a nice mod! I think you should require, persistent corpse here. Also found a an issue when the dead ped is on werid places, the Ambulance, POlice is freaking out and infinite spawning different kinds of ambulance and Police car(I think, and the Police is infinite spawning while on T-pose. it happened to me when the ped died near F's mansion at the next road below it. It's loop spawning but it's not actually spawning, I can just see it trying to spawn.
Just a suggestion maybe it can come like a dispatch instead of spawning instantly? because sometimes where there's traffic, they get top on each other (I'm using a traffic mod so maybe that's why it's happening). When they arrive, the police would place the barrier or something.
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS SHIT!!!! 😭🙏
Will this work for RDE?

I'm still experiencing the blinking spawn loop. Idk if the ss serves justice. but as you can on the right side, the barrier and the police is try to spawn, and at the top of F's head, the police car is trying to spawn.
