This is a Script that goes into the GTA\Scripts folder.
To update: INI file has not changed syntax since V1.7, replace .dll and pdb files, INI file does not need replaced. It was renamed in V2.0.
"1803 Ambient Police.ini" should be the name of the .ini file moving forward.

This script spawns Ambient AI police across the map at predefined spawn points,
Each spawn point has a 30% chance to spawn a sitting patrol unit
Each Spawn point has a chance to spawn 40% traffic stop scenario
Each Spawn point has a 30% chance to spawn nothing

Fixed siren issues for good: sometimes a bad spawned entity would keep siren audio on still
Siren audio suppression for first 10s of traffic stop spawn:
new method EnforceSilentSirenWindow()
Keeps emergency lights behavior while repeatedly muting siren audio every 250ms for 10s.

Added percentage chances for each zone in .ini file.
Now each zone can have its own spawn chance. For example, LSIA is 100% cop, whereas Blaine county is 50% sheriff, 30% cop, 20% highway patrol spawn chances. (Can be changed, just make sure totals add to 100 for each zone)
The ini file is used to add/change cars for police units as well.
-Spawn points skipped if an emergency vehicle is near spawn point. This prevents spawning over other AI units and/or callouts/plugins.

@Wolverine75 There are three things the Police can do:
Sitting Patrol
Traffic Stop Scenario 1: Write a ticket in notepad
Traffic Stop scenario 2: Pat down driver then take notes on notepad
Your police bike was doing a sitting patrol.
You can change cars and percentages of traffic stops in the ini file.
So if you want a highway patrol add-on car, replace it for PoliceB model in file
If you want all traffic stops, turn on 100% traffic stops for a zone, 0% for other scenarios and patrol it and you will see traffic stops everywhere.

@GTAPatrol2026 still does the same.. v3751, v3586, all scripthookV's are up to date, no mods and its a clean game
does it work on enchaced because i took the trip to places where police should resp but it didn't work i did everything as you wrote in description
@pjotr dygysz No, nothing this plugin runs on is supported for enhanced. Once sripthookVdotnet becomes compatible with enhanced, it will work.
@ked101 Not sure why it does that sometimes, the locations are on the ground so theres no reason they should be spawning in the air, it is likely a "glitch" or "bug" with scripthookdotnet
@pjotr dygysz Found this, I have not tested but this could allow the mod to work in enhanced. I will repeat, I have not tested. Maybe once I figure out how to get add-on cars to work with enhanced I will see if this will work.

The sitting patrol cops just stay frozen in theyre cars like mannequins until you kill them. Is this suposed to happen? if it weren't for that this mod would be 5/5 for me
@Felony83 What do you mean? Are you playing as a civilian instead of a cop? If you play as a cop, sitting patrols will
join in pursuits
If you want the police to do something else when playing as a civilian, you will need another mod like "pull me over" which would make all AI police track/pull over player for traffic violations.
Good mod however the police dont attack or come after you if get wanted level they just go past you even with no sirens on meaning all they do is drive around
@GTAPatrol2026 playing as a civ/criminal. ^ exactly what @kyle199827 said, they just patrol and ignore you if wanted, it interferes with RDE too because it registers the spawned cars as dispatch
@GTAPatrol2026 Are we supposed to delete the AIAmbientPolice_DefaultCars files and replace them with the 1803 Ambient Police files or throw them all in there together?

@Starfox1993 The .ini file has not changed since V1.7. If you have an .ini file from V1.7 or later, just rename it to "1803 Ambient Police.ini"

@GTAPatrol2026 can we get a ini setting for the actions probability (ticket,frisk,etc)? also a setting to change the distancing between (pullovers,sitting car and highway driving)? i would like to finetune the interactions. i dont like that the pull overs are back to back. maybe have a customizable spawn map?
@ked101 I will look into adding probabilities for ini if/when traffic stop has some more scenarios. K-9 scenario will be added eventually.
As far as the other stuff goes, I probably wont personally do the rest but you are welcome to download the code from Github and try to make any changes you want, just dont sell the mod and if you re-upload, give me (1803 creations) original credit.
